Upper Pond Stables is a boarding facility located on 25 acres in Litchfield, Maine. Providing exceptional care to our horses is what we do best. We strive to maintain a fun, relaxed, and professional atmosphere and welcome all riding disciplines and horse breeds. We are continually improving our facilities to ensure our boarders and horses are safe and happy.

All boarders may enjoy full use of the facility including riding in the 70' X 120' indoor arena and in the 110' X 200' outdoor arena, using the round pen, riding on well groomed trails, and ending it all by relaxing in a comfortable sitting room.

The horses are turned out daily in spacious well-maintained pastures, and retire at night in large 12' x 12' matted and amply bedded box stalls.

At the beginning of October we got a visit from a couple from the UK , Anita and David, who were traveling the United States with their horses. It was by happenstance that they came to Upper Pond Stables, but what a joy it was to meet them and become part of their adventure.
